The Casey Benjamin Memorial Foundation honors Casey’s life, artistry, and generous creative spirit by providing financial assistance to young artists beginning their careers and working artists experiencing financial hardship. Fiscally sponsored by the Jazz Foundation of America, the Foundation helps artists continue creating and pursuing their artistic goals when limited resources might otherwise stand in their way. As the Foundation grows, the dream is to expand its support to include mentorship, professional guidance, equipment and studio access, creative resources, and new opportunities for artists to develop and share their work.
